LDEA Grand Cape Mount County Detachment Arrests Female Suspect for Illegal Possession of Narcotics

Monrovia, Liberia – June 13, 2025

At approximately 4:30 PM on June 12, 2025, officers of the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA) Grand Cape Mount County Detachment arrested a female suspect, Fatu Passawe, age 51, a Liberian national and resident of the Up Town Community in Robertsport City.

The arrest was carried out following executing a search and seizure warrant issued by the Magisterial Court in Robertsport. During the search, officers discovered one (1) compressed plate of ma*****na along with fifteen (15) wraps of the substance concealed in the suspect's room. The total weight of the narcotics was 0.80 kilograms, with an estimated street value of LD$16,700.00, equivalent to approximately US$87.80.

Following the arrest, suspect Passawe was thoroughly investigated, formally charged, and subsequently forwarded to the Robertsport Magisterial Court in Grand Cape Mount County for prosecution.
