OBITUARY!!

It is with extreme sadness that the Management of Women Solidarity Incorporated (WOSI) announce the passing of our colleague, Miss Catherine Nyae which occured on March 2, 2026 at the Rivercess District Referral Health Center in River Cess County following a 2 hours shocking breathing complication.

Her remain is deposited at the A B Roberts Funeral Home in Gardnersvile awaiting burial on March 21, 2024.

Miss Nyan joined WOSI in 2019 and served the institution as County Coordinator, Project Manager, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer and Human Resource Officer respectively. She served the Institution with great deal of dedication in championing the cause of women and girls in Liberia.

Her legacy endures in every united front we stood for and every impact we made in lifting women and girls in Liberia.

Other details concerning burial will be share as they are concluded.

She left behind to mourn her remains three children ( a boy and 2 girls) and a host of family members.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the children and family.

Congratulations to three of our staff who have completed thier capacity enhancement programs in Financial Management, Procurement & logistics and Project Management respectively at Gonet. We are grateful to The African Women Development Fund for the support.
