The Liberia Peering Roadshow is part of the Internet Society’s Peering Roadshows and Workshops, designed to help local Internet communities enhance connectivity, reliability, and affordability.
This event brought together industry experts, network operators, and decision-makers to share knowledge, discuss best practices, foster collaboration between stakeholders, and build a vibrant IXP that benefits everyone.
The peering event targeted policymakers, government representatives, decision makers in the private sector, including, but not limited to, Internet Service Providers (ISP), Content Distribution Networks (CDN), Infrastructure Providers, Internet Exchange Point (IXP) Operator(s), Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), Large Enterprise Networks, Internet Enthusiasts, and Representative from the regulatory authority. At the conclusion of the event, each stakeholder had a clear understanding of what peering is and how they can play a role in advancing peering in Liberia. This workshop provided a greater opportunity for future support and economic growth.
