Internet Society - Liberia Chapter Internet Society Liberia chapter provides a platform that opens a world where everyone can access and develop a connected, borderless, limitless Internet.

The Internet Society (ISOC) Liberia Chapter is a nonprofit organization that handles Internet standards, education, and policy development. Founded in 2007 and chartered in 2009, it is to follow ISOC’s global mission, which is to ensure open Internet development by enhancing and supporting Internet use for organizations and individuals nationally or worldwide. We provide training in different cate

gories relating to the development of the internet ecosystem of Liberia. We work with various stakeholders to design policies, strategies, and guidelines for improving the ICT sector and the telecommunications industry of Liberia. Our training is free of charge, anyone without a basic idea can attend.

The Internet Society (ISOC) Liberia Chapter, in partnership with the Internet Society (ISOC), hosted the IXP and Peering Roadshow Workshop on November 21, 2025, at the Mamba Point Hotel, Monrovia, Liberia—time: 9:00 a.m. The program started with registration.
The Liberia Peering Roadshow is part of the Internet Society’s Peering Roadshows and Workshops, designed to help local Internet communities enhance connectivity, reliability, and affordability.
This event brought together industry experts, network operators, and decision-makers to share knowledge, discuss best practices, foster collaboration between stakeholders, and build a vibrant IXP that benefits everyone.
The peering event targeted policymakers, government representatives, decision makers in the private sector, including, but not limited to, Internet Service Providers (ISP), Content Distribution Networks (CDN), Infrastructure Providers, Internet Exchange Point (IXP) Operator(s), Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), Large Enterprise Networks, Internet Enthusiasts, and Representative from the regulatory authority. At the conclusion of the event, each stakeholder had a clear understanding of what peering is and how they can play a role in advancing peering in Liberia. This workshop provided a greater opportunity for future support and economic growth.
