In the midst of a challenging period for fuel prices, MAF has been committed to serving partners in and out of the capital.
MAF in Liberia is deeply grateful to our supporters for bringing our vision to life, seeing isolated communities in Liberia transformed by the love of Christ.
We want you to know that by supporting us, you are our true partners in God’s work.
Congratulations to our staff for always refuelling the aircraft!

Happy Friday to all of our partners, we look forward to working with you all next week.

World Drug Day: A Call to Reflect

As we observe Drug Day in Liberia, let us pause and reflect on the devastating impact of drug abuse.

Say NO to drug!
Let us pray for our youth across Liberia. May God give us strength as we work hard to reduce drug use and protect our communities.

Happy World Drug Day!!!!!!!

Today, a few MAF staff members stopped by to reflect on the negative impact drugs have on our communities.

Happy weekend Partners.

For many years, MAF has worked alongside the Sisters of the Holy Family,
supporting their passion to provide healthcare and schooling to people in
hard-to-reach areas of Liberia.
Audrey works with Sisters of the Holy Family, an organisation whose work has often
been strengthened by MAF’s aviation services, especially when the nation’s roads
were impassable.

The Liberia Civil Aviation Authority team visited Greenville, Harper, Grand Cess, and River Cess to document the condition of the airstrips. The inspectors walked the full length of runways to better understand conditions on the ground.

MAF pilot Amos Simiyu, enjoyed flying the team to the four airstrips and he walked along with the inspectors.

Active maintenance work has been going on for the past three weeks. The engineers paused to carry out the aircraft’s 200-hour inspection. Without their skills and hard work, the aircraft would not be complete just like our body cannot function properly without all its parts.
Special thanks to Peter Okai and Davies Nyamuancha, who travelled from Uganda and Kenya to support the engineering team in Liberia. Your support, skills, and ideas were very important.

Happy Pre Unification Day to all of our partners!!!!!!!

The flight arrived exactly on time, bringing hope, health, and healing to our medical passenger. After landing safely in Harper, the aircraft arrived at James Spriggs Payne Airport to complete the journey. Please keep the patient in your prayers as he undergoes further treatment. Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) was honored to transform a difficult journey into a smooth, life-saving flight. ✈️

One of MAF’s mission mandates is caring for creation, and it was a privilege to have rabbits on one of our flights.

Frederick B. K. Wollor Sr. was excited to use the MAF airline to transport two baby rabbits to Grand Cess. Frederick has been raising rabbits for the past year and currently cares for 19 rabbits. He said the two rabbits are a gift for his sister’s children, who have only read about rabbits in school and have never seen one in real life.
