Fresh from the soil! Our Life Foundation Eco Club students just celebrated their very first community garden harvest of locally grown palaver sauce leaf and water greens. Club members informed our M&E team that Sales from the produce will be reinvested into the club to help expand their community gardening efforts. This activity is an outcome of our school garden program under the Actionaid Liberia funded SPA 2 project implemented last years.🌿✨

Today, our Executive Director, Mr. Beyan E. Harris met with Mr. John Smith, Founder and CEO of the Ever-Green Recycling Institute (EGRI).

Their discussion focused on establishing a strategic partnership for our upcoming Youth Green Entrepreneurship and Empowerment Initiative. A key highlight of the meeting was the collaborative design of a specialized training module on Waste Management and Recycling, which will play a vital role in supporting our SPA II Project.

We look forward to the impactful synergy between our institutions as we work toward sustainable solutions.

Small acts of care lead to a massive harvest! 🌱

Over the weekend, our wonderful Eco Club students from the Life Foundation headed out to the community garden to get their hands dirty. We are so proud of their dedication to building a sustainable food system through agroecological practices.
These students continue to inspire us all by showing that change starts in our own backyard. Let’s keep growing together! 💚

Our school-based Eco Clubs are doing more than just planting seeds they are driving real action for food security through sustainable agroecology.

On a recent check-in visit, our National Program Animateur, Ms. Evelyn Wehpaye, was thrilled to see the club's latest achievement. With strong support from school leadership and local neighbors, the students have officially expanded their garden initiative into the surrounding community!

This inspiring expansion is a key outcome of the SPA2 project, funded by ActionAid Liberia. We are proud to see the training and support provided under this partnership blossom into community-wide impact.

CYCLES is proud to have participated in the Ombudsman Stakeholder Conference and Technical Workshop, held from 18–19 February, 2026 at the EJS Ministerial Complex.

Under the theme "Strengthening Accountability through Partnerships and Dialogue," this EU TAIEX supported initiative brought together public officials, civil society, and development partners to fortify ethical governance and administrative justice in Liberia.

Our team engaged in intensive sessions focused on:
Administrative Justice: Refining complaint-handling and due process procedures.
Transparency: Strengthening report writing and decision documentation.
Protection: Implementing practical whistleblower safeguards.
Engagement: Enhancing public outreach and youth involvement.

This training directly supports our Civic Actions and Participatory Democracy program pillar. We are grateful to the Office of the Ombudsman for the invitation and look forward to our continued partnership in building a more accountable Liberia. 🇱🇷
