Liberia Strategic Analysis

In Liberia, Social Impact (SI) is implementing the United States Agency for International Development’s (USAID) Liberia Strategic Analysis (LSA) activity, in collaboration with partners Synergy International and Encompass. LSA is a five-year effort in support of the USAID Mission in Liberia and its implementing partners (IPs). The goal of LSA is to improve the effectiveness and sustainability of USAID/Liberia’s program by ensuring that USAID can learn from and adapt to its operation environment. Liberia is beginning a new recovery phase emerging from the Ebola virus disease (EVD) crisis and USAID/Liberia stands at the forefront of donors pledging resources to help Liberia realize yet another successful transition. In this context, the LSA activity plays an essential role in USAID’s work to affirm Liberia’s post EVD recovery. LSA provides a comprehensive framework to support and guide evidence-based programming and decision making that is informed by Liberian change agents; ensure effective information-sharing to reduce duplication among development actors and most importantly, help ensure that strategies, approaches, projects and activities readily adapt to meet the changing needs and strengths of the Liberian population.
