As per the 2022 census, Grand Kru County has a population of 109,342, making it one of Liberia’s least populous counties . The county is predominantly rural, with 93.4% of its residents living in rural areas . The primary ethnic group is the Kru people, known for their rich cultural heritage and traditions.  
🌾 𝘌𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘰𝘮𝘺 & 𝘓𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘥 ɢʀᴀɴᴅ ᴋʀᴜ ᴄᴏᴜɴᴛʏ
The economy of Grand Kru County is primarily based on subsistence agriculture and fishing. Residents engage in slash-and-burn farming techniques to cultivate crops such as upland rice, cassava, palm nuts, sugar cane, bananas, and various tropical fruits. Notably, 93% of agricultural households in the county produce cassava . Cash crops like coffee, cocoa, and kola are also grown. Fishing is a vital activity along the coast, providing both food and income for local communities .

These districts encompass various towns and villages, each contributing to the county’s cultural and economic landscape .
