Min. Atty. Cornelia Wonkerleh Kruah meets Rev. Dr. Ock Soo Park

The International Youth Fellowship (IYF) is deeply honored to announce a landmark milestone in our mission to empower the next generation. On the sidelines of her official visit to South Korea, the Liberian Minister of Youth and Sports, Atty. Cornelia Wonkerleh Kruah, met with our esteemed Founder, Rev. Dr. Ock Soo Park, to formalize a visionary partnership aimed at transforming the lives of young Liberians.
In the presence of Rev. Dr. Park, Minister Kruah and the IYF leadership advanced discussions to sign a comprehensive Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This agreement lays the groundwork for pioneering youth development, agricultural advancement, and enhanced Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in Liberia.
Expressing Our Deepest Gratitude and Congratulations
The IYF wishes to extend its profound gratitude to Minister Kruah for her visionary leadership, her unwavering dedication to the youth of Liberia, and her proactive commitment to this partnership. During the meeting, Minister Kruah committed her Ministry to identifying and securing land for the construction of a state-of-the-art IYF Youth Center in Liberia—modeled after our successful flagship facilities in Ghana and Benin.
We also extend our warmest congratulations to the Government and the people of Liberia. This partnership represents a massive step forward in unlocking the incredible potential of Liberia's youth through practical, sustainable, and life-changing programs.
Key Pillars of the Partnership:
A World-Class Youth Center: Cultivating leadership, mind education, vocational skills, and community programming in a brand-new, dedicated facility in Liberia.
Agricultural Innovation: Leveraging South Korea’s advanced agricultural expertise and technology, adapted specifically to empower Liberian youth and boost local food security.
Expanded TVET Support: Providing tailored technical training pathways to help Liberian students align their vocational education directly with viable career paths.
Looking Ahead
"Every partnership we build abroad has to answer one question: what does it mean for a young Liberian at home?" Minister Kruah shared. "This conversation gave us real answers on land, on agriculture, on technical training. Now the work is to turn that into an agreement we can execute."
IYF is fully prepared to execute this vision. To finalize the MOU and begin implementation, our West Africa Director, **Jinsung Kim**, and Liberia Country Director, **Sungjae Kim**, will work in direct coordination with the Ministry. An official IYF delegation will also visit Liberia in the near future to advance these plans on the ground.
We thank Minister Kruah once again for her visit and look forward to a long, fruitful partnership that will inspire, educate, and uplift the youth of Liberia.
