Highlights from Our Women in Project Management Conference – March 17, 2025

What an incredible and inspiring event! Our Women in Project Management Conference, held at the AME University Graduate School Hall, was nothing short of phenomenal.

From the dynamic speakers to the engaging audience and the insightful discussions, the energy in the room was truly electrifying! The event not only provided a platform for knowledge sharing and networking but also marked a major milestone for PMI Liberia’s commitment to empowering women in the field of project management.

We are thrilled to announce the official launch of the PMI Women in Project Management Fund Drive, an initiative dedicated to supporting and uplifting aspiring female project managers. Through this fund, three deserving women will receive scholarships to undergo professional project management training and sit for the globally recognized PMP certification exam—a crucial step in advancing their careers.

A special and heartfelt thank you to Hon. Meapeh Kou Gono for her invaluable support in making this vision a reality. Your generosity and commitment to empowering women in leadership and project management are truly commendable.

PMI Liberia Chapter Joins National and Global Partners to Celebrate International Women’s Day

Today, March 7th, the PMI Liberia Chapter proudly joined the Ministry of Gender and Social Protection, UN Women, and other key stakeholders in Liberia to celebrate International Women’s Day under the global theme: “Accelerate Action for Gender Equality.”
