THE HISTORY OF YOUTH AGENDA FOR PROSPERITY- LIBERIA
INTRODUCTION
(the beginning of an organization)
The organization Youth Agenda for Prosperity – Liberia today, started on December 27th, 2016; when some positive-minded young change-makers and vision bearers brought to the disco this assertion to confirm and affirm the quest for youth unity, voluntarism, and positive action initiatives among others. As a result of these numerous ideas and innovations, those conscious change-makers proficiently and vehemently let the cat out of the bag by staging this impactive youth-driven organization. To eradicate negative vises and societal ills from an individual, a community, and the country at large, this organization stood in the midst to promote change in all words of life to build a brighter and clearer feature for all. At about this dispensation, the group decided in a general assembly by majority vote to name their group “UNITED FIAMAH YOUTH FOR PROGRESSIVE CHANGE” with the motto: “collective work breeds success”. Ranking the leadership structure was the following personalities:

THE FALL OF THE ORGANIZATION
However, this movement lasted not very long due to the discordance and delusion of some fundamental principles. As a result, the organization came to an evanescent standstill. After some months of redress and colloquy on these flaws and failures, the organization then agreed to form a confederacy with a sister organization called:” Determine youth for change” to strengthen itself. Based on some negotiation and similarities of vision and mission and ideas, the organizations instantaneously transition from their original names to a newly created name which constitutes the collaboration of the two names to be:” Determine youth for progressive change” with a motto which states “pulling together for a cost”. Nevertheless, this was another fall due to the other organization's underlying motive, which was linked to greed and self-interest. After the general and presidential election of 2017, this organization broke away and collapse leaving our team alone and handicapped; their plans were not for change but rather for political ambition and desire. Because of all of these sequential challenges and misfortunes that were heavenly faced by the organization, led to the fast depreciation of our team, which also at the time had a lot of young school-going, volunteers. Till the team came to a momentary standstill and was left in a state of dilemma. That was the coming of the second fall. THE REBIRTH AND RISE OF A NEW ASSOCIATION
In November 2019, the dream of building an organization was still dreamed by other visionaries who saw this illusory aspiration as a God-given gift and duty to achieve at all costs despite the numerous difficulties and challenges that lie along the rocky way. To achieve such a dream, they approbated and affirmed the facts that there will come many failures and challenges along the way, but their workings could be permanent and consistent all along; using what they have, where they were, those strong optimists believed that there comes a time in every man’s life to face the truth no matter what and that their time of making a dream become reality was alive. They also proposed and declare that there is a sense in climbing one mountain thousands of times than climbing thousands of mountains at one time. These vibrant optimists and emancipators revive the team under the supervision of its chief dream bearer and founder, executive director, and volunteer, in the person of the ever-potent, astute, and most energetic young change-maker in the person of comrade Joshua kolleh kollie. Eventually, the association begin to progress through its working aims as there came a strategy to mobilize and sensitize more young people to join the consciousness team as it is today. They identified young change-makers and motivated them to join the team to bring a change wanted through positive youth interactions. Above all, they remain steadfast in all minors as also as they were clear about what they wanted to achieve. Youth unity, progressivism, volunteerism, and positive action initiatives remain our priority as we gear to dish out the best of our future. Today the association has drawn much attention to the outside world, as a hope for the renewal of peace and developmental rebuilding of the young generation across all crosscutting of our society. SIGNS OF PROGRESS OF THE ASSOCIATION
Youth agenda as our name states has been and will continue to be a team of consciousness that promotes young people and their positive actions. In other words, this organization has begun to profess as a light of reflection that young people can seek to follow and feel a part of change-making as necessary as possible. On January 19, 2020, this association stage a one-day interactive youth retreat and reunion day program; which calls to order a series of positive-minded young people from in and around Monrovia to discuss the enormous problems and challenges young people face, their communities, and the country at large. During this gathering, young people were able to brainstem and formulate strategies and solutions to solve present-day problems and realities. The program which brought together at least thirty young people was very successful as the ills of society were discovered and the plights and partition of the young people were well identified. During this program, a lot was learned about the vulnerability of young people to negative societal pressure and societal illness as well as the social and political unstableness of society in the upbringing of a young person which triggers their progress of the state. Among others discussed were the” role of a young person in the society and the effect of the society on a young person” as well as the “power of the quadrantal abilities of an individual”. YAP-LIBERIA did not and will not stop as there have been much of considerations made and to be made in the peaceful fight to combat negativism in the society hence restoring an everlasting hope for peace, unity, and progressiveness among young people everywhere every time. To excel to expectations and also be identified as a well-known and reputable change-making group, a series of modalities have been made and worked on as a contingency plan for the smooth growth and gateway of the association's progress. Ladies and gentlemen, am pleased therefore to announce to you that YAP-LIBERIA has now achieved and made a lot of great impart in the following ways during the short period from February to September 2020. bylaws and constitution of the organization, ground rules, and regulations, membership form, membership identification card, membership T-shirt, volunteer name card, article of incorporation, an updated organization page, via Facebook and messenger, an organization web and Gmail accounts, a coronavirus awareness program among others developments. Am also pleased to inform you that currently in the pipeline is the branding of additional seven dozen of the organization's outdoor T-shirts plus other related items too, including an alternative outdoor camping T-shirt, face caps, and bib jackets. Also, under the spotlight is the branding of the organization banner, campaign awareness flyers, brochure against r**e and sexual gender-based violence, plastic stickers, hand band, and other related items of importance. More to this, the organization has now decided to lunch her three events projects with 95 % assurance, which will include health, education, and peacebuilding. Also, in progress is the negotiation and renovation of the organization office portable office space to acquire stableness of address and capture the attention of donors’ support. The purchasing of an organization’s sitting capacity( chair), the registrations of the organization this November, the organization charity field trip at kpatawee waterfall, B**g county, and the official inauguration of officials and leaders of the team as well as the launching of the organization February 2021, remains our top priority in progress and achievement of the team’s agenda for prosperity. As an organization subject to the obligation to champion the cost of the quest to redress, transformed and rebuilt our beloved country, it has always been our deepest passion to prioritize and polarized our workings around the five basic pillows for which this team was created. These pillows are as followed:

It remains our greatest hope to achieve these pillows to the best of our ability, as we thrive in our greatest strength to bring a change wanted as our motto depicts:” BECOME THE CHANGE WANTED”
CONCLUSION
It remains our humble prayer to succeed amidst all challenges as we stand to ploy and dish out the best the future may offer through our positive actions and collective participation. If there must come change and progress in our life, it is we young people that are expected to bring that change. Change is the only constant in the world; we either allow change to affect us or we affect change. We either look at our future generation becoming more unemployed, less fortunate, disgruntled, socially dislocated, and mislead or create for ourselves a renewable future through our positive actions and strategic plan for success. If we cannot stirrup and find the feature of those talents that are embedded within us, then we do not dream bearers nor change makers. We should not continue to be a dead dreamer but rather should we emancipate ourselves from our mental lamentation and note that we are the author of our fortunes. Let us be remembered in history as liberators of our future than be forever forgotten as if we did not live. Our eyes don’t see opportunities because we have to, but because we need to do something about it. And so, I tell you that the time is now, young people and we are the change wanted. As we’ve identified you as a changemaker, we urge you to please join this movement of consciousness with all your power and with all your might; as we gear to emancipate ourselves from failure and set ourselves free of mental depression. Above all is our right to prove and prevail over all; we shall not fail. Long live all conscious-minded volunteers of YAP-LIBERIA, long live the hopeful dreams and aspirations of YAP-LIBERIA, long live the indomitable fighting spirit of TEAM YAP-LIBERIA, and long love our beloved homeland, MAMA LIBERIA.” Tena two-ply kai ai kolleh” (The future is bright)
