Techael Foundation- Liberia is a local NGO that seeks to create a safe space where children between the ages of 2-15 years (most vulnerable age) can find their voices, be empowered, get educated to their rights , understand the value of education and be themselves. Our key elements are Child rights, Skill Training / Capacity Building and Awareness but most importantly increase their self esteem, v
alue and worth. Kemah is Liberian girl who lost her mother when she was 12 years old .With no technical skill, no support to continue her education; she became a Pr******te at the age of 14. Today she is 24 years old, a 6th Grader, HIV positive, and has an eight year old son. Its children like these that we want to help. We want to tackle the problem from the root, the tender age(2-15 yrs) We want to help poor and marginalized children ( HIV + kids, street kids, poor kids from various communities in Liberia starting with Monrovia )
