Count Her In (CHI) is honored to be represented by our Executive Director at this important regional training organized by the Funds for Global Human Rights (FGHR). As the organization currently holding the Co-Chair position of the Mano River Youth Network of Liberia - through our Executive Director, we are proud to join likeminded institutions in strengthening institutional sustainability and resource mobilization efforts.

Today’s sessions focused on fundraising strategies, organizational capacity, and the use of SWOT Analysis as a tool for sustainable growth and impact.

We extend our appreciation to FGHR for this valuable opportunity and look forward to the lessons ahead.

Climate change is not gender-neutral. Across the world, women and girls make up around 80% of people displaced by climate-related disasters, yet they remain severely underrepresented in climate decision-making spaces. In many regions, they are the first to feel the impacts, food insecurity, water scarcity, school disruption, and increased unpaid care work, but the last to be included in the conversations shaping solutions.

Despite bearing the heaviest burden, women hold less than 30% of environmental and climate decision-making roles globally, limiting their influence over policies that directly affect their lives and communities.

This is not just inequality, it is a missed opportunity for stronger climate action.

We call for urgent inclusion. We call for equity. We call for justice.

Count Her In. Because climate justice without women and girls is incomplete.

One Menstrual Hygiene Day, two impactful activities!

Yesterday, Count Her In - CHI joined the Mano River Youth Network-Liberia, Action For Girls Empowerment, and Girls For Excellent Performance, with support from The Fund for Global Human Rights, to proudly commemorate World Menstrual Hygiene Day in Kakata, Margibi County.

Through awareness sessions and sanitary pad distribution at Giddings College Academy and St. Mark Preparatory College, we empowered young girls with knowledge on menstrual hygiene, personal health, dignity, and self-confidence.

At Count Her In - CHI, we remain committed to breaking the silence around menstruation and creating safe spaces where every girl feels informed, supported, confident, and empowered.

Today, Count Her In - CHI proudly commemorated World Menstrual Hygiene Day 2026 with a community outreach event in Gboata Town, B**g County under the theme: “Breaking the Silence, Promoting Dignity, Empowering Girls.”

As part of the commemoration, we engaged and empowered adolescent girls and women through menstrual hygiene awareness, mentorship, open discussions, and educational sessions aimed at breaking stigma and building confidence.

Menstrual health is a matter of dignity, education, and equal opportunity. No girl should feel ashamed of her period or be left behind because of menstruation.

We remain committed to creating safe spaces where girls are informed, supported, and empowered to thrive with confidence and dignity.

Together, we continue to break the silence and champion menstrual health for every girl.

This Menstrual Hygiene Day 2026, Count Her In - CHI is proud to host a community outreach event in Gboata Town, B**g County under the theme:

“Breaking the Silence, Promoting Dignity, Empowering Girls.”

Menstrual health is not just a health issue — it is a matter of dignity, education, confidence, and equal opportunity for every girl. Through this initiative, we aim to create open conversations around menstruation, challenge stigma and misinformation, and ensure that girls feel supported, informed, and empowered.

The event will bring together over 100 adolescent girls for awareness sessions, education on menstrual hygiene management, mentorship, and meaningful discussions that encourage self-confidence and well-being.

At Count Her In - CHI, we believe that no girl should feel ashamed of her period, miss school because of menstruation, or lack access to the knowledge and support she deserves.

Together, we can break the silence and build a future where every girl lives with dignity and confidence.
