The Senior management team of the Westpoint Adolescents Initiative represented by Amb.Eugene B D Wleh, Princess Thomas and Rufus A.Harris this morning presented Certificates of Recognitions to the Samaritan's Purse family precisely the Country Director Mr.Charpman, and the Program Manager of the MMU project in person of Mrs.Edith Perry Harris.

The presentations were made based on the works and their numerous supports of samaritan purse to the township of westpoint through the Medical Mobile Unit project.

The WASH Section of UNICEF Liberia visited the densely populated township of westpoint to assess key WASH facilities for future interventions.

The Visit was led by the Westpoint Adolescents Initiative which see such visit as great milestones for UNICEF interventions as WASH concerns.

The Adolescents,youth and people of west point appreciated UNICEF for their timely and continuous efforts in alleviating the many challenges faced by the township.

As we climax the 16 Days of Activism, on this International Human Rights Day, we stand in solidarity with adolescents everywhere. Under the theme (UNITE to End Digital Violence Against All Women and Girls). We reaffirm that every adolescent deserves education, health, protection, participation, equality, and dignity both online and offline!

As the digital world 🌎 becomes a bigger part of their lives, adolescents especially Girls must be safe from cyberbullying, online harassment, exploitation and all forms of Digital ABUSE 🔥

The Westpoint Adolescents Initiative today joined other organizations in Liberia and around the world to Celebrate The international Day of a Girl child Under the theme:

" THE GIRL I AM,THE CHANGE I LEAD, GIRLS ON THE FRONTLINES OF CRISIS".

The celebration also aligned with our weekly A-BRIDGE Community Based clubs project sessions.

The program and celebration were facilitated by:
1.Grace Freeman a Youth and girl mentor from Young Life organization.

2.Princess B.Thomas Assistant Executive Director of the Westpoint Adolescents Initiative.

The celebration highlights the series
of challenges and fragile crisis ranging from Teenage pregnancy, female ge***al mutilation, climate change, Domestic violence, R**e, Child trafficking, etc. that girls faced in Westpoint , Liberia and around the world that need to be seriously address and tackle.

As organization we will continue to Advocacy and speak out the challenges that hinder adolescents and youth, especially girls.

As we celebrate the International Day of the Girl Child, join us tomorrow for our Adolescents Building Resilience Inspiration Discipline Growth Empowerment (A-BRIDGE) Community Based Club session!

Today the West Point Adolescents initiative in partnership with Youth Arise 4 Development officially commemorated World Contraceptive Day by rasing awareness in the Borough of New Kru Town community to promote responsible masculinity and reduce teenage pregnancy in (West Point and New Kru Town) by empowering men and boys with 300 packs of condoms, knowledge and access to Contraceptives.

The World Contraceptive Day was celebrated with a theme: A Choice for All, Freedom to Plan. Power to Choose.

Promoting Male Involvement in Contraceptive Awareness

Today, the West Point Adolescents initiative in partnership with Youth Arise 4 Development carried out a community and campus based awareness on contraceptive myths and facts that men and boys often face.

The awareness highlighted the importance of responsible decision making, the correct uses of condoms for boys and men, and how they help prevent STIs and STDs. During the activity 150 condoms were distributed among men and boys.

This awareness was made possible with the support of DKT international Liberia.
