The organization is registered under Liberian Laws as a non-for-profit organization. It has tow governing bodies to administer the affairs. These two bodies are Executive Committee and a Board of Advisers. The two bodies have distinct function. Function of the Executive Committee 1. The Executive Committee shall be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the organization in close consultation with the Board of Advisers (BOA). It shall formulate policies and guidelines with the view and interest to bolster the achievements of the Organization and submit same to the Board of Advisers (BOA) for advice in advance of implementation. 2. The Executive Committee shall formulate and initiate plans, policies and projects that will attract potential Donors, both at home and abroad and submit it to the Board of Advisers (BOA) for review and approval. 3. The Officials of the Executive Committee shall hold two (2) positions in some cases to allow the smooth operation of the Organization until the Organization is fully establish. The Executive Committee shall have the following as it Officials: 1) Executive Director 2) Assistant Executive Director 3) Secretary General 4) Project/Field Supervisor 5) Accountant/Financial Officer 6) Public Relation Officer (PRO) The Board of Advisors is expressly the highest functioning body of the organization and has the authority to: 1. Collaborate and advise the Organization during the setting up of its short and long term plans for operation. And to establish a smooth course for the future, and ensure its mandates are implemented with high degree of professionalism. 2. Advise and collaborate with the Organization on fiscal policies, boundaries and budget control and as well with financial matters. 3. Review all agreements, contracts, and other activates to include fund raising submitted by the Executive Committee and approve same provided such agreements, contracts, fund raising and other activities are in the Organization best interest. 4. Ensure that there are policies in place to measure amongst employees, Executive and Advisers actions. The standard must also provide grounds for dismissal when an individual does not conform to them. The number constituting the initial Board of Advisers (BOA) shall not be less than five (5) and can be as many as possible for the smooth operation of the organization.
