thways to job opportunities for young people entering the workforce by placing LibCorps volunteers into intensive service positions where they learn valuable work skills, and develop an appreciation for citizenship. Liberian youth between the ages of 18-35 years are recruited through a professional and transparent vetting process to participate in a three (3) months capacity building and service learning activities and later deploy and assign to one of LibCorps thematic pillars. LibCorps recruit and train youth from across Liberia become volunteers to serve their communities. We work in partnership with nonprofits, businesses, government, private institutions and schools in the placement of LibCorps volunteers who provide valuable services aimed at addressing some of the worst and challenging situation in slums, rural and urban communities across Liberia ranging from teaching to mentoring, relief assistance, community services, and civic engagement to national health awareness and sensitization campaigns, strategic data collection, research and citizen engagement activities. LibCorps harnesses Liberia’s most powerful resource – the energy and talents of our youths – to solve problems.
