WHAT IS THE KL FOUNDATION
The KL Foundation for Children Welfare and Development was established and accredited in 2002 as a Christian welfare and humanitarian organization to address the needs of war affected women and children in war torn Liberia. The KL Foundation is focused on providing health services; youth and community development; education and rehabilitation; leadership training; and the
development of church missions to the people of Liberia. Since its inception, the KL Foundation has been providing desperately needed health, leadership training and community development services to a large population that is unable to afford the escalating costs of medical treatment and other needed services. The KL Foundation has been interceding for those less fortunate by administering curative and primary health care, maternal child health, health education, immunization service under five, and HIV/AIDS counseling and awareness. In addition, the foundation is committed to the training of local health workers, rural church leaders and developing infrastructure for the wellbeing of local community in the region.
