On the International Day of Women in Diplomacy, we celebrate the remarkable women who continue to shape the spirit, vision, and success of the Thinkers Youth Summit Model United Nations (TYSMUN).

COYASOR, in partnership with the American International School Monrovia, advanced its commitment to “Leave No One Behind” through a community outreach initiative at Garyah Valley Academy (GVA) in Margibi County. The intervention provided essential learning materials to support students’ education and academic development.

As part of the engagement, students participated in a lively mini-debate on shared responsibility in school sanitation, alongside a spelling bee competition designed to strengthen literacy and confidence.

We are pleased to have engaged with GVA students and to continue supporting inclusive, quality education that empowers every child to learn, participate, and thrive.

Congratulations to Sylvana J. Samu, TYSMUN 2026 Overall Best Delegate, on being awarded a scholarship to participate in the 2nd Edition of WYLIMUN–ISSEG 2026 in Conakry, Guinea.

At WYLIMUN, Sylvana will represent the United States of America in the prestigious role of Secretary of State (Minister of Foreign Affairs) within the General Assembly simulation.

This opportunity is a reflection of her exceptional performance, diplomatic excellence, leadership, negotiation skills, and commitment to constructive dialogue demonstrated throughout TYSMUN 2026. Meet Sylvana J. Samu, an DP 1 student of the American International School of Monrovia and the proud winner of the 2026 Overall Best Delegate Award.

Representing her school in the UN Women Committee, Sylvana distinguished herself through exceptional diplomacy, strategic negotiation, and her remarkable ability to build consensus across diverse perspectives. Her performance reflected maturity, discipline, and the intellectual confidence required in today’s global leadership spaces.

Beyond diplomacy, Sylvana aspires to become an orthopedic surgeon, viewing Model United Nations as more than a conference, but as a training ground for leadership, communication, precision, and critical decision-making under pressure. The Daily Observer — one of Liberia's most respected newspapers — has published a feature on TYSMUN 2026, and we could not be more humbled and proud.

"Liberia's TYSMUN Builds Next Generation of African Diplomats — Targets 30,000 Youth."

That headline is not just ink on a page. That is a declaration. That is a promise. And that is a mission we are fully committed to fulfilling.

From April 26 to 30, 2026, 78 young delegates and observers gathered at the American International School, Monrovia, from The Gambia, Burundi, Malawi, Lebanon, Turkey, Sierra Leone, Guyana, and Liberia — and together they did something extraordinary.

They negotiated. They debated. They drafted resolutions. They challenged world leaders. They represented nations. They spoke truth to power. And they did it all with the poise, intelligence, and fire of the diplomats they are already becoming.

This is what TYSMUN is. This is what COYASOR believes in. And this is only the beginning.
