Comfort the Children Initiative joined others around the world in wearing blue to stand up for the safety and protection of every child.
‎
‎ It was a great honor to implement The Body Is My Body Program in the Trytrona Education Academy in paynesville Liberia.
‎
‎ We teach children that their bodies belong to them, that they have the right to feel safe, and that they should trust their feelings when something does not seem right.
‎
‎ We encouraged children to speak to a trusted adult, to understand that it is okay to say "No" to unsafe behavior, and to know that secrets that make them feel uncomfortable, scared, or unsafe should never be kept.
‎‎
Child safety is a shared responsibility_ Parents, teachers, caregivers, community leaders, and organizations all play an important role in creating environments where children are protected, respected, and heard.
‎ As we wear blue, we reaffirm our commitment to raising awareness, educating communities, and helping children develop the knowledge and confidence they need to stay safe.
‎ Together, we can build a future where every child grows up protected, empowered, and free from harm.
