As is the case every Saturday, today’s sessions were another eye-opening and enriching learning experience. Our girls explored two important areas: Critical Thinking and Anti-Corruption.

Special thanks to our very own, Mr. Clifton Glee, Program Focal Person at Books Before Boys Inc., and Cllr. Alexandra K. Zoe, Chairperson of the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC), for their insightful presentations and valuable contributions to the learning and development of our girls.

We remain committed to empowering our girls with the knowledge, skills, and values they need to become critical thinkers, responsible leaders, and agents of positive change in society.

Yesterday, a team of members of the Go Girl Lead Mentorship Program, Cohort VIII, led by the Country Director of Books Before Boys Inc., Mr. Mustapha Z. Sherman, paid a courtesy and acquaintance visit to Hon. D. Nelson Bearngar, Director General of the Center for National Documents and Records Agency (CNDRA).

The meeting was both fruitful and engaging, as the team presented a certificate of recognition to Hon. Bearngar in appreciation of his exemplary leadership, dedication, and valuable contributions to the preservation of Liberia’s national documents and records.

In response, the Director General expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the recognition. He also commended Books Before Boys Inc. for its continued commitment to empowering young girls and pledged his support for future collaboration with the team on upcoming programs.

The visit marked a significant step toward strengthening partnerships and fostering collaboration in advancing youth development and girls’ empowerment in Liberia.
