Supply, Delivery, Installation, and Commissioning of a Combined CBC & Malaria Analyzer

SOS Children's Villages in Liberia invites qualified vendors to submit proposals for a Combined Complete Blood Count (CBC) and Malaria Analyzer for our clinical laboratory.

The selected vendor will be responsible for:
- Providing a high-quality, reliable analyzer.
- Delivering and installing the equipment.
- Conducting testing, calibration, and commissioning.
- Offering comprehensive user training for staff.
- Ensuring warranty coverage and after-sales support.
- Guaranteeing the availability of reagents and consumables.

Interested vendors must:
- Be legally registered and licensed.
- Be recognized as a taxpayer.
- Have proven experience in supplying and installing medical laboratory equipment.

Proposals should include:
- A detailed technical proposal.
- A clearly itemized financial proposal.
- A delivery timeline.
- Warranty and maintenance terms.
- A company profile with relevant references.

Submission Deadline:
Please submit all proposals in hard copy to the SOS Children's Villages National Office in Matadi by March 15, 2026.

Today, we joined key stakeholders at a high-level partnership coordination meeting held at the ESJ Ministerial Complex in Congo Town, under the leadership of the team of the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection.

Together, we are working to align development efforts and reinforce collaboration for stronger, more inclusive social protection systems.

From Learning to Action | Celebrating the Completion of Teacher Capacity Building in Grand Bassa

We proudly conclude the first batch of our comprehensive training for 60 teachers and educators in Buchanan—an important step toward improving the quality, safety, and inclusiveness of education in Grand Bassa County. As part of our “Enhancing Assess to Quality Education” in Liberia.

Meanwhile, the training of the next batch of 60 is commencing tomorrow in Buchanan at the Tepro Guest House multi purpose Hall.

Through practical learning in child protection, trauma informed practice & awareness, and positive decision making in classroom, educators are now better equipped to support every child’s wellbeing and academic growth.

Together, we move forward committed to transforming classrooms into safe spaces where every learner can thrive.

DAY TWO INSIGHT | Setting the Tone for Trauma-Informed Teaching

As Day Two of the teachers and educators capacity building training unfolds in Buchanan, Nehmah Yeanay, Program Development Manager at SOS Children’s Villages in Liberia, outlined the topics of the day.

He also underscored the importance of trauma-informed education in shaping safe and responsive classrooms.

“Every child carries experiences that influence how they learn and interact. When educators understand trauma, they create pathways for healing, confidence, and meaningful learning,” he noted.

His remarks set a powerful foundation for practical learning that empowers 130 educators to nurture resilience and wellbeing in every learner.

Today, we have officially begun a 4-day intensive training in Buchanan, bringing together 120 dedicated teachers and educators from 7 public schools to strengthen their capacity in child protection, informed decision-making, and trauma-sensitive classroom practices.

This initiative reinforces our shared commitment to ensuring that every school is a safe space where children feel protected, heard, and supported to thrive. This is part of our Enhancing Assess to Quality Education.

Together, we are shaping classrooms that nurture healing, confidence, and lifelong learning.
