National Empowerment Program for women and children

National Empowerment Program for women and children The National Empowerment Program for Women & Children (NEP), established in 2009, is a registered not-for-profit organization.

NEP grew out of a desire by community women in Liberia to contribute in a way that would make a difference in the lives of women and children who seek an opportunity to better their lives and those of their families. NEPโ€™s support gives the gift of choice to women and children who have the desire, courage and motivation to contribute meaningful to the development of their lives and that of their c

ommunities as a way to move from everyday survival to planning for their future. When the women and children are empowered, their communities and families will break through the chain of poverty. Our Mission:
Empowering women and children through education, support, and sustainable development. Our Vision:
A Liberia where women and children will have the opportunity to thrive, achieve their full potential and lead a life fill of dignity and respect.

Today, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and contributions of women and girls across Liberia. When we invest in women, support their growth, and create opportunities, our families, communities, and nation all gain.

At the National Empowerment Program for Women & Children (NEPWC), we remain committed to empowering women and girls to learn, lead, and thrive.

๐ŸŒธ Celebrating Womenโ€™s History Month โ€“ March 2026 ๐ŸŒธ

This month, we honor the strength, resilience, and leadership of women in Liberia and around the world.

At National Empowerment Program for Women & Children, we believe empowered women build stronger families, safer communities, and brighter futures for children.

From mothers and farmers to teachers, entrepreneurs, and community leaders โ€” women are the backbone of our communities.

This March, we recommit to supporting women through education, skill-building, and safe community spaces. ๐Ÿ’™
