On April 3, 2026, Monrovia Peace Club honored an invitation from its partner institution, YARD-LIBERIA, to participate in a one-day Tech Training Workshop organized for rural teachers.
The training brought together 50 teachers from 12 high schools across Margibi County, focusing on equipping them with essential skills and qualities needed to effectively adapt to digital classroom environments.
A highlight of the event was a powerful session led by our BetterME Coach and Peace Architect, Mr. Habakkuk Parker, who delivered an insightful presentation on meditation and its role in enhancing learning ability. The 10-minute guided meditation session set a calm and focused tone, leaving participants feeling relaxed, centered, and energized. As noted by one participant, Mr. Alex Kortu, the session was both refreshing and impactful.
Additionally, the President of Monrovia Peace Club led an engaging session on the organization’s work, introducing participants to the 42 Days Self-Development Online Program and encouraging teachers to take advantage of such transformative opportunities.
At Monrovia Peace Club, we remain committed to giving back in every way possible, no matter how small, as we continue to promote growth, learning, and community development.
