On April 3, 2026, Monrovia Peace Club honored an invitation from its partner institution, YARD-LIBERIA, to participate in a one-day Tech Training Workshop organized for rural teachers.

The training brought together 50 teachers from 12 high schools across Margibi County, focusing on equipping them with essential skills and qualities needed to effectively adapt to digital classroom environments.

A highlight of the event was a powerful session led by our BetterME Coach and Peace Architect, Mr. Habakkuk Parker, who delivered an insightful presentation on meditation and its role in enhancing learning ability. The 10-minute guided meditation session set a calm and focused tone, leaving participants feeling relaxed, centered, and energized. As noted by one participant, Mr. Alex Kortu, the session was both refreshing and impactful.

Additionally, the President of Monrovia Peace Club led an engaging session on the organization’s work, introducing participants to the 42 Days Self-Development Online Program and encouraging teachers to take advantage of such transformative opportunities.

At Monrovia Peace Club, we remain committed to giving back in every way possible, no matter how small, as we continue to promote growth, learning, and community development.

On Thursday, March 19, 2026, we embarked on a meaningful school engagement that brought together over 200 junior and secondary school students at Dolo Town Public School.

The primary aim of this session was to discuss peace and explore how meditation can enhance students’ productivity and focus on their academic pursuits.

During the engagement, we also provided an in-depth overview of the workings of the Monrovia Peace Club, highlighting its role in promoting personal growth and community harmony.

The students were further introduced to the initiatives of the World Peace Initiative Foundation, particularly the 42 Days Self-Development Online Program, which is designed to support individuals in achieving inner peace and self-discipline.

As we continue to engage with schools, we remain committed to championing peace and fostering positive mindsets among young people.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our Peace Architect and BetterME Coach, Mr. Habakkuk Parker for his guidance throughout the sessions.

The feedback from students, especially their response to meditation, underscores the importance of expanding these engagements to reach even more young people.

The Monrovia Peace Club was honored to receive a special invitation from the Unification Town YMCA Local Youth Council through their flagship program, Hi-Y Club, to engage young leaders from different schools across Margibi County.

Representing Monrovia Peace Club, our Peace Architect, Mr. Habakkuk Parker , led a powerful meditation session designed to refresh, refocus, and prepare students mentally and emotionally for learning. The session created a calm and reflective atmosphere, inspiring students to reconnect with themselves and approach their studies with renewed clarity and confidence.

Every opportunity to work with young people reaffirms our belief that there are youths ready to correct past mistakes and lead positive change. Their openness to mindfulness practices and personal development demonstrated a strong desire for growth and transformation.

This year’s theme, “Rebuilding Young Leaders for School and Community Impact,” strongly aligned with the mission of Monrovia Peace Club. Through meditation and mindful engagement, students were guided to understand the importance of inner peace as a foundation for effective leadership and positive community influence.

We sincerely appreciate the Unification Town YMCA Local Youth Council for the warm invitation and for creating a platform that brings twnety five (34) young leaders together for growth, reflection, and empowerment. Their commitment to nurturing responsible and conscious youth leadership is truly commendable.

Monrovia Peace Club remains dedicated to promoting peace, mindfulness, and leadership development among young people, believing that a peaceful mind is the first step toward building a peaceful society.

From February 5–7, 2026, Impact Hub Africa partnered with the Monrovia Peace Club to host the Young Girls in Leadership Training, focused on empowering young females across Africa to discover their identity and purpose while navigating a male-dominated society.

The three-day training featured Miss Joy Mutoni, a BetterME Coach and Peace Architect, who facilitated two of the sessions on the BetterME Roadmap, CORE, The Five Universal Goodness, The Five Arts of Self-Discipline, and Goal-Achieving Steps.

On the final day, February 7, 2026, one of our own Peace Architects and BetterME Coaches concluded the program with a session on DR(PHE). Throughout the training, participants were also introduced to meditation, mind empowerment, and habit development concepts under the guidance of the World Peace Initiative Foundation.

At the Monrovia Peace Club, we remain committed to building a society where peace, mindfulness, and meditation help individuals find themselves and grow into conscious, impactful leaders.

HAPPENING NOW | STUDENT ENGAGEMENT

The leadership of Monrovia Peace Club is currently engaging students of Harbel Multilateral High School in an inspiring and thought-provoking session under the theme: “Becoming a Better Version of Myself.”

This engagement is focused on self-discovery, personal growth, discipline, leadership, and positive decision-making empowering students to reflect on who they are today and who they aspire to become tomorrow.

Nurturing Voices for Peace, One Confident Speaker at a Time

The Monrovia Peace Club proudly celebrates a powerful journey of growth, courage, and transformation through our Five-Day Intensive Public Speaking Masterclass 0.1.

From January 5–10, 2026, over 200 passionate young people from Liberia, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, and India came together in a highly structured, heart-centered learning space, united by a shared desire to advocate for peace, communicate with confidence, and lead with purpose.
Driven by the growing need to promote peace through public speaking, each session began with 30 minutes of guided meditation, intentionally designed to help participants decompress from daily stress related to work, school, and other engagements, while cultivating inner peace, focus, and emotional balance, values central to peacebuilding and effective leadership.

The Masterclass featured expert-led sessions on public speaking, psychology, personal branding, audience engagement, and peace leadership. Facilitators, BetterMe Coaches, and Peace Architects from across Africa shared real-world insights and inspiration. Through daily meditation, mandatory participation, reflective exercises, and structured assignments, participants were challenged to grow beyond fear into authority.

This Public Speaking Masterclass was intentionally designed not just to build skills but to shape leaders, leaders who speak with clarity, empathy, and conviction.

Through a rigorous and well-structured learning process, we celebrate those who demonstrated discipline, commitment, and a genuine passion for peacebuilding and community service. Their journey reflects growth, resilience, and readiness to serve society with purpose, clarity, and balance.
The feedback from participants drives us more to expand and continue to build leaders through mindfulness and public speaking skills. For most of them who were first introduced to meditation, their desire to experience more of the inner peace and relaxation experienced never seized to amaze us at Monrovia Peace Club.

We assure and affirm our unwavering dedication to impacting lives, encouraging continued leadership and peace advocacy while strengthening continental solidarity around peacebuilding and youth development.

Together, we are not just training speakers. We are nurturing voices for peace.
