The year may be coming to an end but PEN's work is far from over. 📅

PEN continues to raise awareness on child labor, abuse, gender-based violence, and sexual violence and got the opportunity to do so in Peace Island Community.

We are excited for more opportunities as we end 2025 and enter into 2026.

The Women in Action (WIA) from the Peace Island 540 community commemorated their organization's first anniversary on Sunday, January 26, 2025.

PEN's very own Country Director, Mrs. Sedia Paasewe Mantein, served as the keynote speaker and chief launcher.

Congratulations to WIA for one year and many more to come! 🙏🏿🎉

On December 6, PEN commemorated the against Gender-Based Violence with a community march and awareness event in the Old Road Community.

With only 2 days left of the 16 Days of Activism global initiative, PEN urges everyone to stand with girls, women, and underrepresented communities who are most at risk of experiencing sexual and Gender-Based Violence. Let's work together to restore their hope! ♀️🙏

On November 26, PEN was represented by our Country Director, Sedia P. Mantein, at the "Strengthening Action, Services, and Response for Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (STARS-4-GBV)" program, hosted by Medica Liberia. This program worked to discuss and mobilize preventive actions and resources against sexual and Gender-Based Violence in southeastern Liberia.

Join PEN as we participate in the against Gender-Based Violence (GBV), from November 25 - December 10! ♀️
