About the workshop!
This online Workshop is designed to help young people take ownership of their personal and professional development. By gaining practical digital skills. Participants will be better equipped to navigate today’s economy, create opportunities, and drive positive change in their communities.
Nearly half of Liberia’s youthful population lacks basic literacy skills, while many young people continue to face limited access to healthcare and educational opportunities.
As of 2023, Liberia’s Human Development Index (HDI) stood at 0.510, ranking the country 177th out of 193 nations, an indication that despite progress from 2022, Liberia remains in the low human development category. These challenges affect more than 60% of the population under the age of 25, shaping the realities of health, education, and overall opportunities for young people.
Although youth unemployment remains relatively low, the weak education systems continue to hinder growth and empowerment.
This initiative is empowered by Youth in Action for a Better Liberia, to ensure young people experience their full potential.
Join us as we empower Liberia’s youth with tools for self-reliance, entrepreneurship, and sustainable growth.
Remember this is a program for beginner and we are accepting only 15 person for this session. The deadlines for application submision is September 22.
