We kicked off our Amaxa x EduChildren Model UN Conference 2026 preparations with an engaging Introductory Workshop Session on Monday, April 13th, and it was nothing short of inspiring!

Held at the campus of Rhema Faith Academy School, Riverview Community (opposite Stephen A. Tolbert Estate), the session brought together bright young minds eager to learn, grow, and step into the world of diplomacy and global leadership.

From the very first interaction, participants showed enthusiasm, curiosity, and a strong desire to make their voices heard on global issues. This is just the beginning of an incredible journey toward the main conference!

Our Co-founder, S Malcolm Jabateh, is honored to be one of the 10 semi-finalists in Grad Slam — UC Berkeley’s graduate research competition — which is happening today (April 9).

There will be three winners from this stage — two selected by judges and one decided by audience vote — and Sekou would be truly grateful for your support. The event will be livestreamed here: https://www.youtube.com/live/PZ7QeukOU_A from 10:00 PM to midnight Liberia time/GMT.

He’ll be presenting from 10:22 to 10:28 PM GMT, and voting will be open between 11:15 and 11:35 PM GMT. During that window, a link to the voting form will appear on the livestream screen.
