Building brighter futures begins with investing in the people who shape them every day.

On Saturday, October 3, 2026, EduHope Initiatives had the privilege of conducting a one-day professional development workshop for the teachers of Capernaum Community School in Capernaum Village, B**g County.

Held under the theme “Building Brighter Futures, One Classroom at a Time,” the workshop was provided at no cost to the participants. EduHope Initiatives sponsored everything, including the transportation of facilitators from Monrovia to that part of B**g County.

At the end of the workshop, participants were presented with Certificates of Participation in recognition of their attendance and participation.

Our contribution to Capernaum Community School began in October 2025. Since then, we have successfully distributed educational materials to the school and its students. We currently have four scholarship students at the school, and we also make a small monthly financial contribution to help augment the monthly compensation of the committed teachers there.

Saturday’s workshop at the school was a productive one, especially considering that it was the first time such an initiative had been organized for the teachers.

Many thanks to Mr. Duwor Kullie and Mr. Jonathan V. Magbollah for expressing their willingness to go with me.

The success of the 2026 EduHope Teachers’ Advancement Workshop is a testament to what consistency, commitment, teamwork, and professional excellence can achieve.

From a modest beginning in 2022, the EduHope Teachers’ Advancement Workshop has steadily evolved into a significant professional development platform for educators, creating opportunities for teachers to learn, share experiences, strengthen their pedagogical skills, and return to their classrooms better equipped to serve Liberia’s children.

Today, we proudly celebrate FIVE EDITIONS of the workshop:
