Today, under the supervision of the Girls Health Alliance (GHA), our trained Peer Educators commemorated World Menstrual Hygiene Day at the Ducor Ivy League International School System and officially launched a Health Club in support of the STAGE Project to promote Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR).

The launch of the club also introduced our reusable pads initiative and girls’ care kits, which were distributed to the club’s leadership team.

We are grateful for the incredible team and dedicated peer educators who are taking the lead in creating awareness and driving positive change within their communities. A special thank you to President Magnuslyn Daphne Desire Gayflor and the leadership of the PEI 2026 Cohort One for their coordination and commitment.

Some conversations are uncomfortable… but silence has never changed anything.

Some of our participants proudly represented the Peer Educators Institute at the +18 V Talk 2.0 hosted by Influential Females of Africa (IFA).

From women’s health and hygiene to sexual and reproductive health rights, the event created space for bold and necessary conversations. And yes, our Communication Strategist and acting Executive Director, Damaris E.M Jackson, served as one of the panelists!

The joy of a job well done! 🤩

Look at these smiles! After four days of intense training, our peer educators are officially certified and radiating pure energy. There’s nothing quite like the excitement of young leaders realizing their own potential.

Huge congratulations to our newest certified peers educators, our incredible organisers and facilitators for making this magic happen. The journey ahead is long and we aren’t stopping, but every marathon runner knows when to catch their breath.
We’re taking this weekend to rest, recharge, and soak in the win. 🙌Wishing you all a restful weekend filled with as much joy as you see in these photos!

It’s Day 4, and our peer educators are finishing strong. From deep discussions to hands-on sessions sewing reusable pads. A group of young people dedicated to ending period poverty, because menstrual health is everyone's business!

We are officially halfway through!

Day 3 of the Peer Educator training is in full swing, and the energy from these young leaders is incredible.
We’ve moved from morning breakfast chats to deep-dive sessions. After mastering essential life skills like leadership, self actualisation, communication skills, media engagement, and money management, we are shifting gears today into critical SRHR topics such as:

Body anatomy and physiology, Adolescent and mental health, Preventing STIs, gender-based violence, and harmful practices.

The journey of peer educators isn’t just about learning; it’s about empowering those most affected to lead the change. Seeing this transformation in real-time is exactly why we do this.

Stay tuned as we head into the final day.
