Last Friday, the first cohort of 40 young graduates trained under the STRIVE Project completed their Entrepreneurship Boost Program at and in Monrovia.
After 6 days of intensive training and 2 days of coaching, participants pitched their business ideas to a professional jury, showcasing strong creativity and market awareness.
Projects ranged from electrical supply and maintenance services (e.g. Royal Electrical House, Kollie Electrical Component & Maintenance Shop) to food and hospitality businesses (Ma Viola Pastry Shop, Neriah’s Restaurant) and service ventures like EMG Printing Press.
All participants received certificates, marking an important step in their entrepreneurial journey.
The final scores are now under review, and the selected winners will be announced soon, 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭‑𝐮𝐩 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐔𝐒𝐃 𝟓𝟎𝟎–𝟏,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬.
Following this first phase, bootcamps are now underway in Kakata and Gbarnga.
