e promotion of a drug-free culture. Our Vision is to save our generation and future generations from the danger of substance abuse by building a sustainable structure and regime that maintains an alcohol and drug-free culture in Liberia. Pillars:
Education – provide awareness about the danger of youth alcohol and substance abuse through the implementation of various educational programs that address the type of substance abuse problems in our local communities, targeting modifiable risk factors and strengthening identified protective factors. Intervention – design and rollout sustainable research-based programs that both build youth capacity and equip them with skills needed to deal with various risk factors that induce substance abuse; and as well, work with current substance abusers, providing trainings on skills that induce cessation and models successful quitting behavior aim at ending their dependency and making them valuable members of our communities. Advocacy – engage relevant stakeholders about the adoption of a national plan by presenting a research-based proven strategy that worked in an effort to foster the gains we have made and to broaden the scope so that it covers every subdivision of Liberia leaving no one behind. Over all, we believe our youths full of promise and untapped potentials should have a fair shot of living their dreams without it been stolen from them by the crippling effect of substance abuse. We work to address the most fundamental and essential questions about drug abuse and pride ourselves in our data-driven approach; conducting research into the origin and occurrence of new substance abuse trends in our communities and develops or remodel programs for its control and prevention. In real sense, the vaccine of prevention is the best cure! We develop leaders that drives our agenda, as we believe that the more leaders we create, the more problems we solved and the more closer we are to the attainment of a drug free culture in Liberia.
