Margibi county .On today Engaged with mother and care givers on the importance of seeking other health interventions (Reproductive,Maternal,Newborn ,Child and Adolescent )Health Services when they present to the health center / Clinics for immunization 💉 services.
The goal is to maximize health system efficiency, boosts vaccination coverage by reducing missed opportunities, and provides families with a comprehensive package of care. To reduce travel costs for patients and strengthens the overall delivery of maternal and child health initiatives.

On June 2,2026, A one day Regional immunization Champions workshop was held in Grand Capemount county- Garwula district.

Over 70 participants from across the 5 health districts of Grand Cape-mount County , Bomi and Gbapolu counties were equipped with knowledge and skills to advocate for immunization. The goal of this workshop was
To ensure that immunization is strengthened and its coverage is improved across Liberia 🇱🇷.
Those Participants were trained to serve as immunization Champions within their respective communities, and with a role to drives vaccination efforts, addresses vaccine hesitancy, and promotes community health. They are encouraged to act as vital go-to resources for their communities and peers.

The Pediatric Association of Liberia 🇱🇷 with support from the International pediatric Association and the Gates foundation ,Hosted a one day Regional immunization Champions workshop, in Buchanan city-Grand Bassa county.

The event which was held on June 4,2026,brought together immunization champions from Across the 8 health district of Grand Bassa County,Margibi and Rivercess counties.
