Currently, Jamaima Tweh is a student at the African Methodist Episcopal University (AMEU), pursuing an undergraduate degree in Political Science and Public Administration. Her academic excellence is evidenced by numerous accolades, including the title of "Most Eloquent Speaker" at the 2017 Inter-High School Debate Tournament.

Her persistent efforts included calls to the Liberian government and the National Legislature, advocating for the accountability of the accused.

In addition to her fierce advocacy on behalf of women and children, Jamaima Tweh actively addresses broader challenges facing children in Liberia, striving for solutions that create a safer environment for youth and families.

Her remarkable commitment to child rights and community leadership has garnered recognition, including her appointment as the 1st Deputy Speaker of the Liberian Children Parliament, now known as the Liberian National Children's Representative Forum. Meet Prince GZ Gaye - Young Leader
(Male Category)

Prince GZ Gaye is an inspiring young leader from Liberia, born in Jallah’s Town to the esteemed union of Mr. and Mrs. Williams MN Gaye Sir. His educational journey began in 2006 at the Soltiamon Christian School System, where he laid the foundation for his academic pursuits. Due to circumstances that necessitated a change, he transitioned to Cornerstone International Academy, where he successfully advanced from K-1 to K-2, ultimately graduating the same year.

In 2010, following a migration that brought him and his family to Jacobs Town, Lonestar Community #2, Prince continued his education at the Bible Foundation Day-Care School in the South Africa Community. His academic journey continued as he was promoted to the 2nd grade and later transferred to Brown Academy Day-Care and Elementary School in the Zion Community, where he completed his education through the 6th grade.

In 2017, Prince enrolled at James N. Davies SDA High School, where he not only excelled academically but also demonstrated remarkable leadership skills. It was during this time that he founded the Students Developmental Alliance (SDA), a platform aimed at fostering collaboration and growth among students. His leadership qualities were recognized as he served as Vice President in the 8th grade and subsequently as President in the 9th grade. He graduated in 2023, earning the distinction of the Most Outspoken Male Student, a testament to his commitment to advocacy and student representation.

Prince’s passion for education and youth empowerment led him to join the Mighty Compatible Youth Intellectual Forum in 2020, where he currently serves as the Speaker. In this role, he has been instrumental in promoting intellectual discourse and engaging young minds in meaningful discussions that address societal challenges.

In 2021, Prince took on the role of Director of Programs at the Liberia National Institute on Drugs and Crimes, where he has been actively involved in developing initiatives aimed at combating drug abuse and promoting healthy lifestyles among the youth. His dedication to this cause reflects his commitment to making a positive impact on society.

In 2022, he was appointed as the Speaker of the Montserrado County Students’ Union (MONSU), a position that allowed him to advocate for the rights and needs of students across the region. Although he resigned from this role in 2023 for personal reasons, his contributions during his tenure have left a lasting impression on the student community.

Additionally, in 2023, Prince was appointed as the Chair on Press at the Liberia National Children’s Representatives Forum, a role that further exemplified his commitment to youth advocacy. However, he chose to resign later that year, prioritizing personal matters.

Prince’s pursuit of leadership excellence was recognized in 2021 when he achieved his first certificate in Leadership from the Roberts’ Care Foundation. However, he made the principled decision to revoke this certificate due to concerns regarding the founder’s past actions, which included inciting violence against peaceful students at the University of Liberia. This decision underscores Prince’s integrity and commitment to upholding the values of peace and respect within the educational environment.

In summary, Prince GZ Gaye is not only a remarkable young leader but also a beacon of hope for the future of Liberia. His unwavering dedication to education, youth empowerment, and community service has made a significant impact on society, inspiring his peers and fostering a culture of leadership and advocacy among the youth. As he continues to navigate his path, there is no doubt that Prince will leave an indelible mark on the landscape of Liberia’s future.
