Good afternoon distinguished members of the press, esteemed partners, stakeholders, industry leaders, creatives, and our loyal supporters.
On behalf of the President, the Executive Team, and the entire Bushrod Island Entertainment Award family, I extend our sincere appreciation for your presence here today.

OFFICIAL CLARIFICATION ON BIEA’S INACTIVITY
Following the successful hosting of the First Edition of the Bushrod Island Entertainment Award on December 31, 2023, our organization encountered significant challenges.
These challenges included:
Financial constraints
Sponsorship withdrawals and partnership delays
Operational limitations
Structural gaps that required urgent internal review
As a young and emerging award institution, we faced realities that demanded maturity, discipline, and strategic reflection.
During this period, many opinions circulated across media platforms. Some questioned our sustainability. Some doubted our commitment. Others assumed that BIEA had collapsed.
Today, we stand before you with clarity and humility.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience, disappointment, or uncertainty that may have arisen during this period. We take full responsibility for the silence that followed.
However, let it be clearly stated:
BIEA never left.
We deliberately paused — not out of weakness — but out of responsibility.
From 2023 to 2026, while we were quiet publicly, we were actively examining ourselves internally. We listened carefully to feedback, criticism, recommendations, and honest observations from supporters and stakeholders.
We received them all with appreciation.
Your voices shaped this new chapter.
And for that, we thank you.

No Award Ceremony in 2026
There will be no award ceremony this year.
The Second Edition of the Bushrod Island Entertainment Award will take place in October 2027.
This decision allows us to:

Rebuild brand trust
We are choosing preparation over pressure.
