The Youth Climate and Environmental Society (YCES), through its Assistant Director, played a pivotal role in advancing national processes on climate change learning and migration governance. At the National Mid-Term Workshop on the Climate Change Learning Strategy Development, YCES contributed to the review and validation of the Climate Change Learning Strategy Report (CCLSR) and actively engaged in developing the roadmap for the strategy’s implementation. This participation underscores YCES’s commitment to strengthening climate education and building national capacity for climate resilience.

In parallel, YCES also participated in the validation workshop of Liberia’s Voluntary National Review (VNR) of the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly, and Regular Migration, which forms part of Liberia’s preparation for the International Migration Review Forum (IMRF). Our Asst. Director involvement was particularly significant given his role as a member of the National Technical Coordination Mechanism on Migration, an IOM Youth Delegate, and his recognized technical capacity in climate mobility, displacement, and migration
