🌍 Cross-Cultural Learning in Action at Job-Us Liberia Incorporated

Today, Job-Us Liberia Incorporated had the privilege of hosting a cross-cultural learning visit by international interns from Samaritan Purse. The visit provided a meaningful opportunity to exchange ideas, share experiences, and strengthen mutual understanding around community development, youth empowerment, and sustainable livelihoods.

During the engagement, the interns learned about Job-Us Liberia’s work in promoting entrepreneurship, skills development, employability, financial inclusion, and economic empowerment for vulnerable populations, including women, youth, and persons with disabilities. Our team also gained valuable insights from the interns’ diverse cultural backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences.

Cross-cultural learning reminds us that sustainable development is built through collaboration, respect for diversity, and the exchange of knowledge across borders. We are grateful to Samaritan’s Purse for fostering partnerships that promote learning, innovation, and shared impact.

This week, Job-Us Liberia Incorporated, was contracted by Samaritan Purse Liberia to officially began a three-month intensive Micro Enterprise Training and Mentorship Program for 20 persons with disabilities and their caregivers under the Help Educate Liberians with Disability (HELD) Project.

The initiative is designed by SPL to promote inclusive education, strengthen livelihoods, and create sustainable pathways to self-employment and financial independence.

Throughout the next three months, Job-Us Liberia will provide two weeks practical business training, coaching, and mentorship, two months Post training support while Samaritan's Purse Liberia provides small grant support and spiritual mentorship through discipleship sessions.

We are proud to be part of a transformative journey that empowers individuals with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to build successful micro-enterprises and improve their quality of life.

Together, we are creating opportunities, restoring dignity, and fostering economic inclusion for persons with disabilities in Liberia.
