Theme: Promoting Healthy Communities Through Education, Prevention, and Preparedness
Helping Hands Humanity International (HHHI) warmly invites the general public, community leaders, students, parents, mosques, churches, organizations, and institutions to participate in our Community Health & Safety Workshop.
About Us:
Helping Hands Humanity International (HHHI) is a nonprofit humanitarian organization dedicated primarily to raising awareness about cancer, especially breast cancer, through education, advocacy, early detection, and support for individuals and families affected by the disease. We believe that increasing awareness and promoting early detection are among the most effective ways to reduce the burden of cancer and save lives.
While cancer awareness remains at the heart of our mission, HHHI is equally committed to advancing community health and safety by equipping individuals with practical knowledge and life-saving skills. We recognize that healthy communities are built not only through disease prevention but also through emergency preparedness and health education.
Purpose of this Community Health & Safety Workshop reflects that commitment by bringing together essential topics that have the potential to save lives,
* Breast Cancer Awareness β Understanding risk factors, the importance of early detection.
* The Red Cross will facilitate Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Basic life-saving techniques to assist someone experiencing cardiac or breathing emergencies.
* Fire Safety β Personnel from Liberian Fire Safety Agency will conduct fire prevention strategies, emergency response procedures, and the proper use of fire extinguishers.
Why This Workshop Matters
Emergencies can happen at any time, often without warning. The knowledge gained from this workshop could enable you to recognize the early signs of disease, respond confidently during emergencies, prevent avoidable injuries, and even save a life. Through education and preparedness, we can strengthen our families and build safer communities.
