Today, as we commemorate the Day of the African Child, CAGE Initiative joins millions across Africa in reaffirming our commitment to the rights, dignity, and well-being of every child.
This year's theme, "Ensuring Universal Access to Water, Sanitation and Hygiene for Every Child in Africa," reminds us that access to clean water, safe sanitation, and proper hygiene is not a privilege but a fundamental right. Too many children still face barriers that affect their health, education, safety, and future opportunities.
We call on government institutions, development partners, communities, parents, and young people to work together to ensure that no child is left behind. Investing in children means investing in a stronger, healthier, and more prosperous Africa.
CAGE Initiative remains committed to promoting child rights, gender equality, health, education, and community development to help create a future where every child can thrive.
Every child deserves a safe, healthy, and dignified life.
