Empowering Girls, Protecting Futures 🤍

On April 30, 2026, the Moijama Foundation Incorporated successfully implemented a one-day menstrual health pilot in Kakata, Margibi County, reaching adolescent girls across two schools in rural communities.

Through this intervention, 50 girls (ages 11–18) received:
• Sanitary pad kits
• Practical education on menstrual health and cycle awareness
• Guidance on teenage pregnancy prevention

What we saw was powerful. Confidence, excitement, and a sense of dignity. For many of these girls, access to sanitary pads is not guaranteed. Something as simple as this can determine whether a girl stays in school or falls behind.

Beyond distribution, we created a safe space to:
✔ Break the stigma around menstruation
✔ Educate girls about their bodies
✔ Encourage informed and confident decision-making

This pilot is more than a one-day activity. It is a step toward a scalable model that protects girls’ education, health, and future.

We remain committed to expanding this initiative and reaching more communities across Liberia.

Because when you support a girl, you empower a generation.

As part of our back-to-school outreach, our team delivered copybooks to 20 children in the Sackie Gborbor community in Kakata. We were informed by Bro. Sam Saylay that these students needed school supplies as they began the new school year, and we were happy to respond.

The children and their families were excited and expressed heartfelt thanks to the donor and prayed for continued support in the future.
It was a joy to see their smiles as they received the books.

At Moijama Foundation Incorporated, we are always grateful for the chance to give back and stand with our community.

As part of our annual Back to School program, we were blessed to donate armchairs to the Islamic Light Arabic and English School in Kakata, Margibi.

We know that a child learns best in a space that is welcoming and comfortable. Even something as simple as proper seating can make a big difference in helping students focus, grow, and enjoy their education.

This small act is our way of supporting both students and teachers, and we pray it adds value to their learning journey.

From the bottom of our hearts, we thank our team from MFI for their volunteering services to humanity alaways. Together, we can continue to build brighter futures.

As part of our efforts to combat drug abuse and other harmful substances, we joined a cross-section of national leaders to address this epidemic that has engulfed our nation.
