Celebrating Melvina Patience Vah on Her Birthday!

Today, the Tikula Youth Movement proudly shines its Changemaker Spotlight on Melvina Patience Vah a dedicated journalist, youth advocate, and community leader whose work continues to inspire positive change in Liberia.

Melvina participated in our B**g County One-Day Career Training and witnessed the launch of the Tikula Youth Movement B**g Chapter, demonstrating her commitment to youth empowerment and community development.

As the only female sports reporter in B**g County, she has broken barriers in sports journalism while using her platform to promote local talent and encourage more young women to pursue careers in media. Her leadership through the BCU Ignite Her Initiative and her contributions to youth development reflect the values that Tikula stands for.

On this special day, we celebrate not only your birthday but also your courage, leadership, and unwavering dedication to creating opportunities for others.

TIKULA YOUTH MOVEMENT AT THE 5TH PAYNESVILLE ANTI-DRUGS SYMPOSIUM

We are honored to have participated in the 5th Paynesville Anti-Drugs Symposium, joining numerous youth organizations united in the fight against illicit drug abuse in Liberia.

Our sincere appreciation goes to the organizers for creating this impactful platform that continues to inspire young people to become advocates for a drug-free society.

A special moment for our delegation was the recognition of our Executive Director, Amb. Harrence F Tokpah, who was honored as an . This recognition strengthens our commitment to continue raising awareness, empowering communities, and standing firmly against the use and trafficking of illicit drugs.

At Tikula Youth Movement, we believe that together, we can build a healthier, safer, and drug-free Liberia.

Baz Emmanuel Barzon is a Liberian youth leader, educator, public speaker, and personal development advocate passionate about empowering young people to discover their purpose and maximize their potential. Baz is committed to raising a generation of purpose-driven leaders equipped with the mindset and skills to transform their communities.

Matthew Lee Gbigbi, popularly known as Godhand, is a Liberian writer, poet, entrepreneur, and business development strategist. He is one of the Co-Founders of Arclee Business Partners and a passionate advocate for youth development and innovation.

His poetry collection, A Voice Echoing From The Atlantic, won the Best Poetry Collection Award at the Mulher Forte African Literature Awards 2024. He was also named First Runner-Up for the Pengician Chapbook Prize 2025 with his collection Placenta Tree and was shortlisted for the African Writers Awards' Wanjohi Prize 2025.

In the business world, Matthew emerged as the winner of the Edustad-Liberia Business Pitching Competition 2026, demonstrating his commitment to entrepreneurship and enterprise development.
