Congratulations to the Scholarship for Scholars Initiative on the successful conclusion of the 2nd Edition of the Margibi Regional Quizzing Tournament!

The Siakeh Foundation is truly honored to have partnered with you on this impactful initiative. As an institution that strongly believes in youth development and academic excellence, it was a privilege to support a platform that continues to inspire learning, critical thinking, and healthy competition among our young people.

This year’s theme, “Say No to Drugs and Substance Abuse in Schools,” made the initiative even more meaningful. Together, we are not only promoting education but also shaping responsible and conscious future leaders.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all participating schools for their dedication and effort, and a very special commendation to the champions for their outstanding achievement.

Our sincere appreciation also goes to all partners and supporters who contributed to making this tournament a historic success.

We are especially proud to celebrate our leader and CEO Thur Siakeh, who was honored in recognition of his outstanding contribution, dedication, and unwavering support toward the advancement of education and academic initiatives in Margibi. This recognition is well deserved and truly inspiring.

As rightly stated by our CEO: “If a country must be better and develop, the minds of the next generation must be developed adequately to contribute to the development.”

Together, let us continue to invest in education and empower the future of Liberia.

We say thank God 🙏🏿, and thanks to our community 👏

Today, the Siakeh Foundation joins all Liberians in observing Decoration Day — a moment to honor our heroes, remember our departed loved ones, and reflect on the values that unite us as a nation.

As we visit the resting places of those who came before us, may we renew our commitment to love one another, promote peace and reconciliation, and serve our communities selflessly.

Together, we remember.
Together, we rise.
Together, we build a stronger Liberia.

Happy Decoration Day, Liberia. 🇱🇷

SPECIAL MESSAGE FROM Siakeh Foundation
Partner – Margibi Regional Quizzing Tournament, Edition 2

The Siakeh Foundation is proud to stand as a partner of the Scholarship for Scholars Initiative in hosting the Margibi Regional Quizzing Tournament under the powerful theme:

“Say No to Drugs and Substance Abuse in School.”

This theme is not just a slogan — it is a national call to action.

As an organization committed to youth empowerment and leadership development, we believe education must be protected. Our schools must remain safe spaces where young minds grow, dream, and prepare for a brighter future — not places where drugs destroy potential.

Drug and substance abuse is silently robbing our communities of future doctors, engineers, teachers, innovators, and leaders. The fight against drugs is not for one organization alone — it is a collective responsibility.

A Special Message from Our CEO, Thur Siakeh

“Our young people are the hope of tomorrow. If we allow drugs and substance abuse to take control of their lives today, we risk losing the very generation meant to lead Liberia forward.

Fighting drugs is not the responsibility of government alone. It requires collective effort — parents, schools, churches, community leaders, civil society, and the private sector must all stand together.

I am calling on the national government, stakeholders, organizations, and every well-meaning individual to join forces with urgency and commitment. Let us work together to protect our children, strengthen our schools, and build communities where young people can thrive without falling victim to substance abuse.

The future of our county and country depends on the decisions we make today.”

— CEO, Siakeh Foundation

The Siakeh Foundation remains committed to supporting initiatives that educate, inspire, and empower young people to choose purpose over pressure and leadership over destruction.

Together, we can say NO to drugs.
Together, we can protect the next generation.
Together, we can build a stronger Liberia. 🇱🇷

The Siakeh Foundation is proud to stand with our county!
Yesterday, we made a humble donation of 30 pieces of customized shirts along with $5,000 LRD in support of our county’s team as they prepare for the upcoming National County Meet.

At the Siakeh Foundation, we strongly believe that sports is a unifier—a powerful force that brings people together, inspires young minds, and strengthens community spirit.

We remain committed to contributing to initiatives that uplift our people and promote unity across our beloved county.

Together, we move. Together, we win.

Thanks to our team from the Foundation for their support.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT

16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence – 2025 Observance

The Youth Alliance for Rural Development–Liberia (YARD-Liberia), with generous support from the Liberia Civil Aviation Authority-LCAA (LCAA) and the Siakeh Foundation, is pleased to announce the official observance of the 2025 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence Campaign, scheduled for Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at the Women’s Resource Center, Harbel General Market.

This year’s observance is held under the global theme “Ending Digital Violence Against All Women and Girls,” with a strong focus on youth empowerment, accountability, and rights protection. The program seeks to raise national awareness on the growing threats of online abuse, cyberbullying, exploitation, and other forms of digital violence affecting women and girls, particularly in rural and underserved communities.

As part of the program, separate goodwill messages will be delivered by our esteemed sponsors, the Liberia Civil Aviation Authority (LCAA) and the Siakeh Foundation, reaffirming their commitment to safeguarding women and girls and promoting digital safety, education, and gender equality in Liberia.
The observance will feature key presentations from:

Mr. Dennis Kromah, Executive Director, YARD-Liberia – National Activist & ICT Trainer, on digital violence and online abuse with emphasis on girls’ education and protection;

Ms. Oretha Kou Tenway, Feminist Advocate, on ending gender-based violence as a collective responsibility;

The program will further include remarks from partner organizations, school administrators, and community members, highlighting shared responsibilities in protecting women and girls and strengthening community-based response mechanisms to gender-based and digital violence.

Following the official observance, YARD-Liberia will implement a sustained awareness campaign in selected schools and communities, extending the 16 Days of Activism beyond a single-day event. These outreach activities will focus on digital safety education, reporting mechanisms, youth engagement, and community accountability to ensure long-term impact.

YARD-Liberia expresses profound appreciation to the Liberia Civil Aviation Authority (LCAA) and the Siakeh Foundation for their invaluable sponsorship and partnership, as well as to all partner institutions, schools, community leaders, and advocates for standing in solidarity with women and girls across Liberia.

Together, we can end digital violence, promote accountability, and protect the rights and dignity of every woman and girl.
