🌳 A huge thank you to everyone who made National Tree Planting Day unforgettable!

To our City Mayor, County Agriculture Coordinator (CAC) , and District Agriculture Officer (DAO-1) thank you for officiating the day, planting trees with us, and showing that leadership belongs on the ground, not just in offices.

To the students, youth groups, community leaders, and especially the businesswomen and women who joined our parade and awareness march, you proved that climate action is for everyone.

We gathered over 85 people strong, marched through the streets of Ganta, and made a statement: Nimba is ready for a greener future.

🌱 We are now planting our first 2,000 trees in the coming days.

A heavy storm damaged part of the fence. This is what happens when we have fewer trees to break the wind and protect our infrastructure.

The solution? More trees. 🌳💚

This May 9th (National Tree Planting Day) , CEAN Inc. is launching Youth Leading Climate Action in Ganta. We will plant 1,000 trees to start — and we need every hand.

📍 Join us. Be part of making Ganta greener, stronger, and safer.

news from Community Empowerment & Agriculture Network - CEAN

We are a youth-led social venture, and we are proud to announce that we have been selected to participate in the Global Youth Mobilization program, supported by the European Union.

Our initiative is called "𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧." We will be planting trees, training young people in beekeeping, and teaching sustainable farming to help protect our environment and create jobs for youth in Nimba.

We are starting our work in 3 communities in and around Ganta. Community mobilization is already happening, so expect us anytime in your area!

📢 Want us to visit your community?

Drop the name of your community in the comments and tell us one environmental problem you are facing (like flooding, deforestation, or poor soil). We just might come and do an assessment there!

this post with your friends, classmates, and family. Let's build a greener Liberia together, starting with Nimba. 🇱🇷💚
