Seventy-seven percent of young people aged 15 to 24 work in the informal sector.

This is not a problem to fear.

It is an opportunity to rethink development.

Instead of seeing informal youth as vulnerable, we must see them as innovators, entrepreneurs, and builders of local economies. With the right skills, access to finance, supportive policies, and opportunities linked to natural resources, they can drive transformational development, create decent jobs, strengthen communities, and reduce vulnerability to crime.

The question is no longer whether our youth have potential.

The question is whether we are creating the right environment for that potential to thrive.

The Youth of a nation are the Trustees of Posterity. This simply means the young people hold the future of a nation in their hands. A noble charge fate thrusts upon them. Let's end hunger.

Today, June 16, We Honor the African Child🇱🇷

On this Day of the African Child, Care Outreach Initiative INC stands with every child in Liberia and across Africa.

We remember Soweto, 1976.
Students died demanding the right to learn in their own language. They believed education was worth their lives.

Today, the fight continues.
In Gbarnga, B**g County, Liberia and beyond, too many children still face:

1. Barriers to school – fees, distance, no books .

2. Hunger – learning on empty stomachs

3. Lost potential – dreams cut short by poverty

At Care Outreach, our response is action:
For 12years now, we’ve ran youth mentorship, school support, and community aid because we believe this:

Proverbs 22:6 – _"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."

Every textbook we give, every meal we share, every mentor we provide says: “Your life matters. Your dream is valid. Africa’s future is you.”

To every African child reading this:
You are not forgotten. You are not a statistic. You are God’s idea for the next generation of leaders, teachers, pastors, and founders.

To our partners & community:
The African child won’t rise by speeches alone. They rise when we show up. Join us to sponsor a student, volunteer as a mentor, or donate school supplies and Meals.

Because when the African child rises, Liberia rises. When Liberia rises, Africa rises and the world comes together as one.
