These lights are durable, with a lifespan of 3yrs with proper use, no more buying kerosene everyday, no buying batteries everyday and no more worries about charging, you just need the sun.

We are reducing the cost of lights on rural households where electricity is a dream.

Last year, we participated in a training on drug and substance abuse organized by United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). Yesterday, we participated in a planning session to identify communities that will be engaged during the upcoming awareness campaign.
The selected communities in Montserrado include West Point, New Kru Town, King Gray, Logan Town, and Banjor. While other CSOs in Grand Bassa have also identified specific target locations.
Represented by our Program/Project Coordinator Omaru Junior Kamara, we engaged in dignified interactions and drew actionable plans to begin active community engagement hosted by UNFPA Liberia at the Royal Grand Hotel in Monrovia.

Yesterday, April 21st, 2026, we had a successful meeting with the UNESCO LIBERIA Country Office representative Mr. Mutea where discuss strategies to promote the recognition of prior learning program in Liberia.

The discussions were focused on forward approaches and innovative strategies to reach the most hard to reach communities with awareness on the benefits of certificating experiential learning, supporting career progression, and creating pathways to formal education.

Thanks to the European Union in Liberia for inviting us to this transformative workshop. It was truly worth it.

Yesterday, the second meeting of the Team Europe Initiative on forests and biodiversity was held at the European Union Delegation, one year after the first gathering. The meeting brought together the Government of Liberia, EU Member States, civil society, and private sector partners.
Discussions focused on how the Forest Partnership can bring real benefits to Liberians, including jobs, support for communities, and better management of natural resources. Participants reviewed the six key pillars of the partnership to ensure they respond to national priorities.
Liberia’s forests are a vital national asset. Protecting them can create opportunities, support livelihoods, and help secure a better future for the country.

Center For Dignity and Inclusion CDI was represented by our Executive DIrector Amb Khalifa Losene Dunor at a two days capacity building workshop on the "Recognition of Prior Learning " hosted by UNESCO Liberia office at Corina Hotel, in Monrovia from April 2-3rd, 2026. The RPL in Liberia is significant step towards inclusive education in Liberia, creating the possibilities for experiential learning to be certificated, support career progression, promote inclusive and economic growth among and create a pathway to the formal education sector for the Informal and non-formal learners in Liberia.
