Success Story of Impact and Sustainability

In 2024 our team launch five VSLA groups across rural and urban Montserrado under the Youth Advance Activity in partnership with Education Development Center . On Sunday March 1,2026 we visited the fofe town community VSLA group that started with a total of 15 members saving over 300,000 annually , with commitment and honesty the group have experience immense growth with eighty-five (85) current members. With effort to promote sustainability of this group Job-Us is providing ongoing mentorship and give a small donation of VSLA items to support the leadership effort.

We are excited about the impact this group is currently making in fofe town, creating access to finance at community level while improving the livelihood of it's members. We look forward to bring more success stories from our VSLA impacts in rural communities as we strive to promote employability and access to economic empowerment.

On February 7 our team began a two months intensive training under our Inter-High School Career Development and Work Readiness Program.

For the next 8 weeks participants will gain comprehensive knowledge from the following modules:

1. Foundation of Resilience
2. Personal Development & Smart goal setting
3. Leadership & communication
4.Be your own Boss
5. Finding & Keeping work
6.Tips for University application
7. Basic ICT Skills
8.Career Planning for Career success

We are grateful to all of our Stakeholders, especially administrators of our partnering schools, PTA association and our amazing participants. We look forward to expanding our impact to more schools across western Montserrado.

Our team kicked off engagement with six Private and Public schools across western Montserrado in effort to take contemporary work readiness and Life skills to the classroom under our Inter-High School Career Development and work readiness program Cohort 2.

This three months intensive skills training program is designed to prepare 200 senior high school students to access relevant skills for employment, economic independence and University applications after high school by 2027.

We are excited about shared partnership with these institutions as we host these trainings quarterly, promote sustainability of the Work ready Now curriculum and access to career guidance and employability skills across high schools. We can't wait to share amazing success stories from the impact of this program.

Pictorials: Micro Enterprise Management Training Certification

It was such an amazing moment where smiles were on the faces of the (39) Liberian-Ghanaian Returnees and grant beneficiaries who participated in the Micro-Enterprise Management Training under the Homecoming Project in partnership with Samaritan's Purse and Liberia Refugee Repatriation and Resettlement Commission (LRRRC)..

This milestone reflects our shared commitment to promoting reintegration,and empowering returnees with the skills and confidence needed to thrive in their communities.

We are thrilled to have awarded Certificates to 39 Liberians-Ghana Returnees who successfully completed the Micro-Enterprise Management Training under the Homecoming Project in partnership with Samaritan's Purse and Liberia Refugee Repatriation and Resettlement Commission (LRRRC)..

During the training, participants were equipped with basic business skills to help them identify their potential, set SMART goals, and effectively manage their various business ventures. They also gained valuable knowledge on business objectives and segment management strategies.

At the closing ceremony, the returnees showcased what they had learned through engaging and passionate presentations, leaving our partners at Samaritan’s Purse deeply impressed.

We were further honored to have the presence of Hon. Jackson J. Paye (OIC), Director of the Liberia Refugee Repatriation and Resettlement Commission (LRRRC), who expressed his astonishment and admiration at the participants’ dedication and outstanding performance.

This milestone reflects our shared commitment to empowering returnees with the skills and confidence needed to thrive in their communities.
