Hello Everyone:
As you may be aware, a lot of the work we do are funded either through grants / awards, gifts, or out of pockets. In July, we joined the Liberia Giving Month campaign led by SMART Liberia, Radar, and Lonestar Cell MTN to support the work we do for young people. We are grateful to everyone who has supported us so far. Congratulations to Chrîstøphér R Mãrtîn Jr. (coach) and Gabriel R. Harris (player) for reaching the grand final of the national debate championship. Chris joined us in June through the Thinkers’ Academy-WISE Liberia STEAM Innovation initiative as an outreach intern. He graduated from the DRIMS school System and is a current mechanical engineering student at the Grand Bassa University. Chris’ leadership abilities are reflected in his roles as Vice president for the Grand Bassa Students Union, a Volunteer at YMCA Liberia, and as General Secretary for the Grand Bassa Anti-Corruption Advocacy group (accredited by CENTAL).

Gabriel is one of the 12 students admitted from an application poll of 43 students from 9 high schools to benfit from our initiative. He attends the DRIMS School System and hope to become a youth leader in the future.
We wish them all the best as they prepare for the grand finale.

Yesterday, we were proud to launch Cohort 2 of our Digital Literacy and Art Education Program!
It was quite an exciting moment when we welcomed 12 new students from 9 high schools in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County. They will, for the next four months, gain hands-on-experience in digital literacy, art, and community-based research within STEAM education.

We are particularly grateful to our partner, Thinkers' Academy, our sponsors / supporters, and all individuals who helped facilitate this launch. We're looking forward to preparing these exceptional young minds for the future that lies ahead.

We will be launching cohort 2 of our digital literacy and art education program that has been held in partnership with Thinkers’ Academy USA. The program is being held under the Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Maths (STEAM) Innovation framework. Just like cohort one, these students will go through four months of intensive digital literacy training combined with art education and community based research project initiatives to sharpen their skills for post high school life.
The 12 students were admitted from an application poll of 43 students from 9 high schools in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County following an essay response based assessment.
We look forward to getting started and helping these students learn and grow for the future.
