Youth For The Future
The “Youth For The Future” (YFTF) was established in 2018 by a young group of people that includes Social activists, Professionals and Educationalists, is a non-religious, non-political, non-profit and non-government organization (NGO) being operated in Warakapola. This organization is in the process of legally registering under the divisional secretariat of Warakapola. Volunteers of YFTF is involved in community- based projects as well as projects related to Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) of United Nations in order to end Poverty, Protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity.
The YFTF has been mobilizing local volunteers to develop various sectors such as educational programs, training and counselling sessions that significantly contribute to enhance the livelihood of marginalized community and families under poverty line around Warakapola. This organization has also been positioning its volunteers in Teacher training, Environmental enrichment, Health and Sanitation, Anti-drug campaigns, Helping orphan children and Women and Youth empowerment developments.
