Meeting Conducted by - Shakya (Animator of the YCS Wattala Deanery)

See - Participants were given a few seconds to write down the names of the people they love the most. Many listed others, but often forgot to include themselves.

Judge - Jesus teaches us to “love your neighbor as yourself,” reminding us that loving ourselves is not selfish, but essential. We are created, valued, and deeply loved by God, and we must recognize our own worth.(Matthew 22:39)

Act - To be humble and to help one another with love, just as we are called to love our neighbors.

By embracing this, we strengthen our faith and grow closer to Him.

YCS Wattala Deanery Get together 2025🥳✨️ Which was conducted by YCS Wattala Deanery Committee was conducted on 28th of December 2025 at St. Lazarus's Church, Hekitta. It was attended by Rev. Fr. Prageeth Dishan (Chaplain of the YCS Archdiocese of Colombo), Rev. Fr. Annesley Geethley (Chaplain of the YCS Wattala Deanery) and YCS Wattala Deanery Committee members.

This get together was more than just an event it was a beautiful celebration of unity, joy, and togetherness.✨️ At first we had a special mass organized by the members of YCS Wattala Deanery Committee.✝️ Rev. Fr. Prageeth Dishan (Chaplain of the YCS Archdiocese of Colombo) was there to speak with us and enlighten our minds, helping us grow in our lives as YCS members. With hearts full of happiness, laughter, and gratitude, the YCS Wattala Deanery Committee members came together to share moments of fellowship, fun, and celebration.✨️😌 It was a celebration enjoyed to the fullest, strengthening our bonds and leaving us with memories we will cherish for years to come.❤️✝️

While we thank God our heavenly father for giving us the opportunity to successfully carry out this programme.🙏Also we thank Rev. Fr. Prageeth Dishan for joining with us to enlighten our minds. A special Thanks goes to Rev. Fr.
