On 19/05/2026, a workshop on promoting awareness of health and hygiene among the male and female estate workers of Digala Estate, Dehiowita, was conducted with the full sponsorship of Caritas Sethmini Institution. On 31/03/2026, at the Riverside Hotel, Badulla, Uva Shakthi Foundation and the Centre for Policy Alternatives organized a program to discuss what needs to be done to repopulate the Malegam community affected by Cyclone Ditwa and provide them with their rights. The program was coordinated by ECDIC for Ratnapura District and was also attended by CCCD. A large number of civil society organizations representing several districts and high-level officials representing the Badulla District Government also participated in the event.

ඉකුත් දිනක ආකාස සංවිධානය විසින් ජනමාධ්‍යවේදීන් වෙනුවෙන් පැවැත්වූ වැඩමුළුව සදහා සහභාගී වීමට අප ආයතනයටද අවස්ථාව උදා විය.
සටහනක් තැබීමට යම් කාලයක් ගත වුවද ඉතාමත්ම කාලෝචිත හා සහකම්පනය පිළිබදව ඉතා ගැඹුරින් කටයුතු කර ඇති එම ආකාස සංවිධානය පිලිබදව ඉතා වැදගත් කරුණු කීපයක් නොකියාම බැරිය

ආබාධිත පුද්ගලයින් සදහා පිහිටුවා ඇති මෙම සංවිධානය මේ වන විට අනුරාධපුර තලාව ප්‍රදේශයේ නොමිලේ ආබාධිත පුද්ගලයින් සදහා නිවාසයක් පවත්වාගෙන යන බව ජීවිතේ පලමු වතාවට අසන්නට ලැබුණු ඉතාමත්ම සහකම්පන පණිවිඩයකි.

එමෙන්ම ඔබ අප කවුරුත් ඉතා ඕනෑකමින් නොසිතන ආබාධිත පුද්ගලයින්ගේ සනීපාරක්ෂාව වෙනුවෙන් ආකාස සංවිධානය විසින් කුරුණෑගල නගරයේ වැසිලිකි පද්දතියක් නිමවා ආබාධිතයින් වෙනුවෙන් ජනතා අයිතියටද පත් කර ඇත,

අප ප්‍රජාවේ ආබාධිත හෝ ආබාධිත නොවනව සියලු දෙනාටම අවශ්‍ය පොදු පහසුකම් එක සමානය,එය කිසි විටකත් වෙනස් නොවේ,අප සහකම්පනය විය යුත්තේ ඒ නිසාමය,
තවද ලියන්නට බොහෝ දේ ඇතත් ඔබට සිතන්නට අවසන් වශයෙන් මෙසේ සටහන් කරමි.අප බොහෝ විට ඔවුන්ට වචනයෙන් සිදු කරන බලපෑම කොයි තරම් අසාධාරණද යන්න සිතීමට මෙම කරුණ සටහන් කරමි. අප බොහෝ විට අබාධ නොවන දරැවන්ට දිවා ආහාරයත් ආබාධිත දරුවන්ට දානයත් රැගෙන යන අපූරූ අරැම පුදුම මිනිස් කොට්ඨාසකි.

මෙම ආකාස සංවිධානය අපට ලබාදුන් පණිවිඩය සමග අප කොතරම් සිතිය යුතුද,කොතරම් වෙනස්විය යුතුද යන්න තීරණය කිරීමට ඔබට භාර කරමි.එමෙන්ම ආභාධිත පුද්ගලයින්ගේ දැනගැනීම වෙනුවෙන් ඔබට හැකිනම් මෙය සමාජ මාධ්‍ය හරහා බෙදා හැරීමට එයද ඔබගේ උතුම් ක්‍රියාවකි.
