Special Session on Storytelling as a Powerful Tool: Engaging, Empowering, and Educating.

A special session on Storytelling as a Powerful Tool: Engaging, Empowering, and Educating, organized by the Ratmalana Audiology Centre, was successfully held today, 6th of June 2025. It was a truly inspiring exploration of the power of storytelling—its science, practical applications, and how it can be used effectively in different contexts.

The audience included Speech & Language Pathologists, Special Needs Educators, Physiotherapists, and Preschool Teachers working in diverse settings, from hospitals to early childhood education centers.

A heartfelt thank-you to all the amazing participants who joined us for this insightful session.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our resource person, Mr. Sachinda Dulanjana , Training Consultant | Visiting Lecturer | Storyteller, for his time, energy, and dedication.

A special thank-you also goes to The The School for the Deaf, Ratmalana , for their invaluable support in making this event a success.

📚✨ Supporting Preschool Educators for Better Communication and Behaviour Management! ✨📚

Ratmalana Audiology Centre, in collaboration with the Foundation of Goodness, conducted a special workshop on “Behaviour and Communication in Preschools” for a group of invited preschool teachers from the Southern Province on 2nd June 2025.

The interactive session was facilitated by our own Ms. Bandini Jayasena and Ms. Anjali De Silva—Speech and Language Pathologists and Audiologists from RAC—and focused on promoting positive behaviour and effective communication strategies in preschool settings.

A special thank you to Mr. Kushil Gunasekera, Founder of the Foundation of Goodness, and Ms. Woshini Alosha, Manager – Project Development, for making this initiative possible. The event was held at the FOG premises in Seenigama.
