Our Lions Club continued its flood-relief efforts on 4th Dec 2025 reaching several communities heavily affected by the rising waters. Support and essential items were provided at:

📍 Kandana Church
📍 Thudella Church
📍 Wahatiyagama Village

250 lunch packets were distributed today, 2nd December 2025, by the Lions Club of Ragama Welisara to the displaced families sheltered at Christ King College, Ja-Ela.

This initiative is part of our ongoing effort to support communities affected during this difficult period. Our gratitude goes to all Lions and well-wishers whose generosity made this possible.

Dry rations were donated towards the preparation of meals for displaced families at Thuduwegedara Church, Ragama, on 1st December 2025.

This initiative was carried out by the Lions Club of Ragama Welisara, continuing our ongoing support to communities affected during this difficult period.
We remain committed to serving with compassion, ensuring that essential assistance reaches families who need it most.

Today we handed over dry rations to support meals for families affected by the floods, distributing them to Tewatta Church, Ihalagama Temple, and Ragama St. Peter & Paul Church.

With the generosity of our Lion members and friends, we continue to extend our support to the community during these challenging days.

In addition, lunch was also provided to 56 patients and the staff of the Mental Ward at Aniyakanda Hospital, as part of our ongoing service commitments.

A Sweet Act of Kindness for Vesak
Lions Club of Ragama Welisara – Lion Ladies Project

On this sacred day of Vesak, 12th May 2025, the Lion Ladies of the Lions Club of Ragama Welisara came together in the true spirit of giving by organizing an Ice Cream Dansala to bring smiles and sweetness to the hearts of many.

With compassion and service at its core, this project touched hundreds of lives – reminding us all that small acts of kindness, when done with love, can make a big difference.

A heartfelt thank you to all who supported and joined us in spreading joy and light this Vesak season.
