A chapel reborn, a community reunited 🙏

The chapel at Welisara Chest Hospital had stood unused for years. With permission now granted to the Ragama
Parish, restoration is under way, and the Lions Club of Ragama-Welisara has contributed Rs. 200,000 on 7 August 2026, towards the Rs. 1 million project.
Guided by Rev. Fr. Prasanna, Assistant Parish Priest of Ragama, this work restores more than a building: a place of comfort, hope and strength for patients, families and hospital staff.
