From Recency to Frequency: Leveling Up Our Caching Knowledge!🚀

A huge thank you to Mr. Isuru Samaranayake (Specialist Software Engineer, LSEG) for an in-depth technical session on " Designing Advanced Algorithms: Caching Beyond LRU" at the faculty.

We explored the critical shift from LRU to TinyLFU , learning how frequency-aware admission policies handle real-world traffic far better than simple recency.

Seeing these industry-standard algorithms in action was a true eye-opener for our future engineers!

Thanks to everyone who joined and made the session so interactive. 🙌
